About
The 2019 edition of The International—DOTA 2’s biggest annual showdown—was held in Shanghai, China, marking the first time the tournament landed in Asia. The venue? The sleek Mercedes-Benz Arena, which my team transformed into a high-tech battleground for the world’s top 16 E-Sport teams. This year the prize pool topped $34 million, crowdfunded by the DOTA 2 community. Six days of broadcasting 10 hours a day, with OG clinching the win 3–1 and becoming the first team to win The International twice.
