TI10 The International 2021, was a landmark edition of DOTA 2’s world championship, held in Bucharest, Romania. After a pandemic hiatus in 2020, Valve returned with a vengeance, hosting the event at the Arena Națională, Romania’s largest stadium. The show was completely designed and originally planned for Stockholm, Sweden, pandemic complications led to a last-minute relocation. The Prize Pool was a jaw-dropping $40 million USD, the largest in esports history at the time. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the event was held with a broadcast audience only.
